Well then. Please accept my apology for being so misinformed. I promise to put on my lawyer pants next time I post in a thread like this.

Or just read a fricking book or something and educate yourself.

Miyagi- I don't know what your obsession is- do you love Trayvon Martin, or do you hate Zimmerman that much?
Not saying GZ is some great man, but Martin was nothing more than a young dumb street thug, who bit off more than he could chew...

Jesus.

This probably deserves its own thread but:

I wonder if people are really this shitty, or just internet tough guys? I'm thinking the latter just to preserve some hope for humanity in my mind

He walks.

The prosecution basically has nothing except self-righteous indignation.

Yeah, he shoulda stayed in the truck, but Tray-tray shouldn't have jumped on a man with a gun.

After watching the defense eat that lying broad up today....I'd love to see what holes they can punch in this classy lady's story. Im sure she will tell nothing but the truth....

I can't believe so many people just take the word of a guy that's already proven he's not afraid to lie under oath.

after listening for two days, the state's case seems very weak. They have yet to show any evidence to back their depection of events.
I really see two separate events
Event 1 - GZ initally get out of his car to look for TM, TM runs and GZ does not see him any more. the state will try to drive home that this makes GZ the aggressor, but once he loses site of TM that event ends in my mind.
Event 2 - GZ continues to walk around to see whats going on. This is where the defense can easily flip the story and say that TM could have been hiding and waiting for GZ and that TM attacked GZ.

I don't get why this is even a trial. Zimmerman had a broken nose and gashes in the back if his head and the kid had drugs in his system? Waste of taxpayers money.

The unarmed dead kid might have something to do with it.

What drugs were found in his system?

The kid was suspended from school at the time of the incident, his third suspension that year! Once for theft, where they found burglary tools in his backpack along with women's jewelry, possession of drugs and paraphernalia and the other for graffiti.

The neighborhood the incident occurred in had the police called over 400 times in the past year alone, been burglarized 8 times, like 5 break-ins, and someone had already been shot once that year, but Zimmerman was going all vigilante by owning a gun an defending himself?

This "kid" was like 6 ft tall. Gimme a break. It was a bad neighborhood and the kid fricked with the wrong dude

Well he punched him in the face and bashed his head into the curb?

Zimmerman was elected by HOA to act as neighborhood watch.

You're just going to punch some guy that is questioning you because there have been robberies in the neighborhood?

Why not point and say I'm staying here if you want to come talk to my parents?

Because that's not how you handle your business on the street. Kids these days would rather act hard and die, than to be smart and sensible.

BTW...not choosing sides here. I wasn't there that night. Don't know what really happened. Don't know the facts or who was right or wrong. Sounds like both made some poor decisions.

That's a whole lotta shite to say to not even answer the simple question I asked.

Again........ What drugs were found in Martin's system?
