Great business and it really doesn't matter if he isn't good enough to beat out Enrique ... what he is, is good enough to challenge Enrique IMO and that makes us better.
He used to play at Lyon if I'm correct, didn't he? If so I remember him and Michel Bastos tearing it up together on the left wing so i'm looking forward to this.

Update from Dominic King on todays practice session... 2nd myth shot down... 1st is he'd go AWOL, 2nd is that he wouldnt be fully committed (not from anyone here).. the guy only knows one speed..

Did we really expect anything less from him?
I swear most of his crazy comes from that same place that his passion for the game comes from, it's just built/woven into this guy to be so committed and give his all that he won't accept anything less. He's always a 100 mph & 110% ... this also leads to his vampire fangs coming out every now & then as well.

Yea, pretty much what I expected. If he is on the squad at the start of the season, he will play 100% whether he is happy or not.

He was my number one choice this past spring but with the emergence of Cou in the middle, it changed... I wouldnt be disappointed if we got him and pushed Cou out on the left... knowing he would drift inside anyway. My first choice would be someone like Bernard/Muniain... allowing Cou to stay central...

Eriksen, Coutinho, Aspas, Sturridge would be fun to watch.
