I think my first one was 94 vs South Carolina. I was about 10, we lost but I was hooked.

I was 12 in 2002 and we were playing South Carolina. Sat right behind the LSU bench. Think we won 38-14 if memory serves.

re: What Was the First LSU Football Game You Saw In Person?

I sold Cokes in Tiger Stadium in the early 60's. The first game I remember details about is the 1965 LSU-Tulane game. LSU scored at the end of the game making it 60-0. Charles McClendon had the team kick the extra point. The stadium went beserk. They wanted to run for 2 points to make it 62-0 for the third time in 8 years. The kick was good but Tulane was off-sides. The stadium exploded. Everyone was screaming "Two, two points!". McClendon went for 2.

Years later Tulane won 14-0. Baton Rouge was flooded with bumper stickers reading "14-0 IS A FAD, 62-0 IS A TRADITION".

I lived in West stadium dorm in 66-67. Saw the home games. The dorms would rock with the pregame crowds.

While driving cross-country after my second of 3 tours of Vietnam, I stopped in El Paso for the 1971 Sun Bowl (LSU-IOWA STATE). El Paso has sun 300 days a year. I was in a short-sleeve shirt. It snowed. Nearly froze. A tiger fan behind me offered some "antifreeze". God bless him!

It was a Kentucky game in the early 60s. My grandfather took me and that means everything to me looking back.

In 87 or 88 went and saw the Tigers play the U. It rained the entire time and I believe Miami won by 50.

1991 LSU vs Vandy

Sat in the club seats and got to meet John Goodman and have been a die hard fan since.

Todd Kitchen ran a fumble back almost to the house from inside LSU's 10 yd line
