So there are actual Heat fans here?

I don't post here much and actually avoid it almost as much as poli board, but I've come over a tad in past couple days.
Looking at knights thread, I see there are Heat fans on this board.
Why in the world would anyone be a Heat fan? It's worse than being a Yankees fan or a Braves fan or a Cowboys fan.
Can anyone explain? Tia.

what's wrong with being a Braves fan???
Not a big budget, they rely on developing their farm, class organization......why in the frick would you link the Braves to these other franchises????

Not a heat fan per-se. I just don't think LBJ deserves all the hate he gets, so I wanted to take the opposite side.

Most of us want to see Lebron win 10 titles and accomplish everything else there is to accomplish in the game. He's playing for the Heat right now. That's that, at least for me. It doesn't hurt that the Heat are fun to watch anyways if you can overlook the flopping and stuff.

Heat fan since '97, when I was 10 and started following all sports.
I accepted the bandwagoners as part of the LeBron deal, couldn't get around it. Even without "The Decision" the LBJ fans were going to become "Heat" fans.
Not entirely sure how we're grouped in with being worse than Yankees/Cowboys/Braves though. But...whatever you feel is what you feel.
