I can't get my mind wrapped around a bunch of men wearing knickers and sipping wine while shooting guns.

I like the guns.
Probably the beer and cigars too.

You can see why they didn't kill any game.

Do their socks have tassels? Those are some sweet arse socks. Wearing a tie to hunt (animals) is overkill though

Back in the day people wore suits to go hunting bc they were wool, and it was all they had.

The depression was on.

My great grandpaw would get one suit of clothes a year, he would wear that one and the one from last year and anything older was worn hunting or fishing.

I'll try to dig up some old pics. they are classic.

I can appreciate their honesty in what their doing. They dont deny the fact that they are meeting up with the guys to smoke cigars, get drunk and shoot guns.

How liberating would it be to finally tell my wife that the reason I didnt kill shite at the camp this weekend is because I didnt actually go hunting!

I wonder if at one time that was invented to serve a purpose.

Maybe like hunters orange. If s bird flushes low the tassels warn other sportsmen?

I think my wife may already know. But leaving enough "fun money", when I go to the camp, she pretty much keeps her f'ing mouf shut

You can call them migrant workers if you want, but we all know they are still illegal Messicans.

That garb came from and is still worn in England. It works well for the climate there. Those guys are just trying to keep a tradition going and camo isn't needed to shoot clays or most upland birds. A lot of that hunting over there is done via driven hunting with a group of guys blocking the escaping birds flight paths...
