What's LeBron's legacy if Ray Allen doesn't bail him out with the 3-pointer?

LeBron did make the 3-pointer with about 20 seconds to cut it to a two-point game, but without Allen's 3-pointer, LBJ watches the Spurs celebrate another title after misses a game-tying 3.

If the Heat go on to win Game 7, which they probably will, how much did Allen help erase another possible late-game disappoint from LeBron?

...and cue the :LeChoke: responses

Means he will never be in the conversation with the GOAT because of 3 Finals defeats.

We can play this game with a lot of star athletes, yes including Eli Manning, Peyton, Tom Brady, MJ, KOBE, etc. It takes a TEAM to win.

Why the hell does every question of legacy result in a Jordan comparison. These guys legacys will be different. I am tired of always comparing Jordan and Lebrun because they really are two different players.

He could go 6-24 tomorrow and win finals mvp. Fact.

But really, we wont know his legacy until his career is over. He could win 10 more rings or he could never play in another finals.

He would win Finals MVP by default though.

Who else on Miami deserves to be in the conversation?

Indeed, Lebron scored or assisted on 16 straight points in the 4th to put the team in that position in the first place. Plus, the excellent block on Duncan which was a 4pt swing.

These threads are just

Apparently, according to some posters, Bosh because he grabbed two rebounds. They seem to think that was the best thing ever and made Bosh's legacy.

Thank you. People act like Lebron is playing Tennis/Golf/Nascar, or some other individual sport.

Allen not only saved the series and the season, he might have saved the heat franchise

Or Jordan's if Paxson and Kerr dont hit game winners in two seperate playoff series? Or Kobe if Horry doesnt hit game winners? Or Tom Brady if Vinatieri doesnt make two game winners? Or Joe Montana if his tight end drops the ball? Or Skip Bertman if Morris and Cresse arent clutch? Or Vince Young if the defense doesnt stop USC on 4th down?

Without Lebron, Miami would've got destroyed 4-0 and each game would've been a blowout.

Heck, they got destroyed twice with Lebron playing.

MJ and Kobe have shot 100% in the 4th quarter with 0 turnovers in the Finals. FACT.
