Raph Rhymes stats last year in Super Regionals

Love what he did at lsu, but he didn't come up clutch when we needed a win with season on the line.
We can look at other LSU hitters that slumped as well in the past, but came thru when needed. Creese for one.

we get it. you are unsatisfied with life and have to put down a kid who has done more athletically than any of us so you can feel better about yourself.

Nope, as I have said, I blame the coaches. These guys are 21 or younger and rely on them to put them in the right position. Coaching let them down. But I have bitched enough about that going back to 2010.

Agreed, but sometimes you have to play the percentages. No stolen bases in the CWS and no bunts and how many people did we have on base with no outs or 1 out.

Bregman, Raph, Ibarra, Jacoby and Stevenson (that's over half our lineup) only got 2 hits in 37 at bats in the CWS.
...way to be a prick and single out Raph, one of the best baseball players ever to come out of LSU. The kid is a class act and everyone should wish him nothing but the best.

Rhymes was a streaky hitter this year. When he is not hot he is very mediocre at best.

How is this thread BS? He was pointing out a players lack of coming through in the clutch. Do you guys not remember some of the threads on here after football games with JJ/JLee at QB?
