how in the hell does ryan eades not get to throw one inning in the cws. holy shite.

i know that glenn is decent when he is on his game but, damn, coach.

Eades was on and off the whole season. We couldn't take that chance in the CWS unless we already had a decent lead. I feel bad for Eades, but to tell the truth, I probably wouldn't have put him in either. I just don't think we were ever in a position to put him in.

Probably no worse than Bregman, Ross, and Raph.

It wouldn't have changed anything, they should have won and he would have played. There are many other guys that didn't get to play either

if lsu had any shot of coming out of the losers bracket it was with eades starting game 3. that means he doesnt throw in game 2. not a hard concept to grasp.

They wanted LHPs against UNC. 9 of UNC's 11 losses came against lefties. That's why we threw Glenn, Bonvillian and Cotton.

Not to mention Eades was slated to start game 3. CPM can't win for trying, people are bitching that he didn't use any strategy this whole CWS & then people bitch about him using strategy. Sure it sucks for Eades but why would you waste your 3rd game starter in a game that was close & could've gone either way? Who would we have felt sorry for on Thursday?

I don't feel bad for Eades or Ross... both could come back if they wanted like Rhymes and Katz did.

so you are confident that eades would have shut out unc? judging by his last few outings there is no way you can believe that. as hard as you may find this to be, PITCHING DID NOT LOSE EITHER GAME. cold bats and costly errors lost the games. get over the fact that eades didnt start.

Yeah because Eades would've been the difference maker. He would've made us score more than 1 and 2 runs respectively and we would've won the whole CWS.

You hindsight 20-20 coaches just kill me. Either this message board is full of trolls or our fans do not deserve the teams that we have. This place is unreal after losses.

He probably doesn't feel that bad knowing that he's about to get a nice payday from the Minnesota Twins.

I dont remember anyone bitching about starting glenn when the decision was announced, seemed like everyone understood. I had zero confidence in Eades holding UNC down
