I have decided that this will be my cc piece here in south Mississippi. Now the question is where to source one. There are a few on Gunbroker, but has anyone seen any at Academy or gunshop in BR or surrounding areas?

Don't know about there, but academy always has the with and without lasers here.

First, if you are a Mississippi resident you will not be able to purchase the gun in Louisiana. It is possible, but you would have to have it transferred and Academy's policy doesn't allow that (a mom and pops shop might).
Second, good luck finding ammo for .380 right now.

I bought a gun recently off of gunbroker and used an FFL in BSL. It was super painless, and the guy was cool. Last name Matherne and he charged $25. It took about 10 minutes.

I didn't think they make them without a laser.

Thanks. I used them when I bought that 1911. May use him again. Was trying to get rid of a new stainless Ruger .22/.22wmr in a trade... thanks for the info..
