I am pretty indifferent towards Daft Punk, but I do like Get Lucky.

It's ok

I have never really liked it that much. Way down the list of my favorites on the album.

Yeah, I like it.

"Get Lucky" is a funk/disco track.

That's a good way to describe it. And maybe a little electronic mixed in?

Lyrically, I really like the beginning of the song:

quote:

Like the legend of the phoenix
All ends with beginnings
What keeps the planet spinning
The force from the beginning
(Prechorus)
We've come too far to give up who we are
So let's raise the bar and our cups to the stars

The only part I don't really like is the chorus. It gets a little repetitive for me.

Totally agree. I think that's where a good producer says 'Let's cut a line out there or edit it down for the single'. Then again, artist's work, artist's rules.

i think it's kinda infectious, which i suppose is the point of dance music. then again, i listen to dance music about as much as i dance, so i'm not the best judge of the overall catalog,

yeah, I've always heard the name Daft Punk, for years and years now, and honestly this is the first time i could point out a song of theirs. I just never bothered giving a shite about them, which in some circles is tantamount to beating a dog.

What is worse- radio airtime or being played at shitty bars? I actually went to Reggie's during LSU graduation weekend and they played it there.
