Increased mentions of La Tour, then decrease in quality of golf threads...

LaTour has been making far fewer appearances than it has in the past, and I think it has a direct correlation to thread participation. Maybe I should talk more about the luscious greens

I am on my way to being pretty drunk BTW, and attempting to watch basketball, this shite is turrible

Just set the world land speed record for 9 holes. I made the turn at 7:40. Most people call that a day. I decided to try and sneak in a few. I was literally sprinting between shots. Finished in 43 minutes.

I shot a fantastic 40 on the front. From the tips. Had some nice par saves on 1&2. Doubled three and then I holed out from 60 yards on four for a birdie. Drained a 20+ footer for birdie on 7.

Shot 42 on the back during my sprint round. Gotta admit I didn't putt everything out for times sake. Gave myself gimmes within 3 feet. Had another long birdie putt on 16. Probably 16 feet.

Best round in awhile. Putting was lights out. Had 3 birdies which is easily the most in a round ever probably. I'm happy just to get one in a round.

Yeah. When I re-read that I realized it didn't make sense. It's definitely the most birdies in a round for me.

Thinking about trying to snag my clubs from capital golf in the morning before my noon shift in Hammond. Got some Dri-tac grips put on.

Thanks. I wish I had time to play the back 9 in normal time, but I'm pretty happy with the result. Thought I had a chance to break 80 there for a second, but I'll take my second best round ever of 82 and call it a day. Especially after my last few rounds this week.

"I have to rake bunkers at this shite hole? I could see if we were at LaTour, but what's the difference here?"

"At LaTour you only have to breathe on the ball to get this putt moving, but at this dump I would recommend a full backswing"

Hit the wedge SO much better today. Definitely got it dialed in finally. It's nice to not have to run every chip I have with a 52* and hope it stops. 58* was the club I holed out with. I think I kissed it after that shot.

I took the rescue 3H about 240 on #12. Long par 4. I usually just try and get it close and get up and down for par. This time I hit a low stinger and it just ran up on the green. I think I hit it further than my 3W (granted I found my 3W in a cart barn and it sounds like your hitting a block of wood).

Thanks again man.

Do it Tibby. I'll drive ya there and back.

Hell, you can have my lunch. I'll bring a push cart, and we'll be like the threeputt'ateers.

It was down hill. Had a big kick off a slope. But still. It went 240.

I played the front 9 with some guys. One guy was pretty good. One was a beginner. And two others were decent. I was playing the tips so I could practice when I play with my friends. I was hitting it past them (granted they were very short), but I felt like a badass while they'd wait for me to tee off on the tips.

I saw Jakes do something similar this past weekend. Further though.
