If you are thinking of switching over/or just following the PS4 hype ask yourself these questions
How often does you current console disconnect from the Internet? How often do you actually play it when your disconnected from the Internet? (I have good Internet and have never had this problem)
How often do you buy used games? (I haven't bought a used game since the ps2 days)
How often do you share your games? (I don't let friends borrow my games because I never get them back)
Are you scared the government is watching your every move through kinect? (This is ridiculous, do y'all understand how many employees they would need to be watching every person with a Xbox 24/7?) and if your still scared, you can turn off the camera in the console settings.
Do you think the PS4 has better graphics? (this will only make a real difference on exclusives and the only ps4 exclusive I liked was watch dogs)
Just want everyone to stop being sheep to the PS4 fans. Don't let other people influence you decision because they are flaming the features of the Xbox. Buy the console that best fits your gaming style.
Don't try calling me a "fanboy" because I am still not completely sure wich one I want and I've owned a PS2, my and my step brother has a PS3 that I played on atleast a year before I got my 360.

How dare you try to bring logic and reason to the gaming board.

I have no preference for either console but just an FYI, Watch Dogs will be available on all platforms.

If I didn't know what insidious meant, using context clues and knowledge I would think it meant- to support developers and take the middle man (GameStop) from stealing the developers hard earned money.

How many people play sports games on the "master race"?
Posted on 6/15/13 at 11:18 pm to Jakeyura
I used to but got tired of them
Posted on 6/15/13 at 11:29 pm to Jakeyura
You know what, the games probably won't get any cheaper if their whole plan actually works but it might prevent them from getting more expensive.

you do know if you really need to play sports games you can use an xbox controller on pc right?
Posted on 6/15/13 at 11:30 pm to tehchampion140
Not a master racer but this always made me laugh

Do you haggle with the used car salesman to make sure that a percentage of the 2003 KIA Rio that you're about to buy goes back to the guys that assembled it?

There was an article on Kotaku talking about this: LINK
quote:
As inflation rises, the relative cost of something actually drops. As we pointed out last February, when Tretton made his comment about $60 PS4 games, we pointed out that $60 in 2006 money—2006 being the year the PS3 launched—would run $68.54 in February 2013. It's June, so the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics' handy inflation calculator website now puts that $60 in 2006 money up at $69.21. Flip it around the other way and a $60 today is worth $52.02 in 2006 money. One could easily see any game company arguing that next-gen games actually should cost $70.
quote:
Make no mistake that the cost of making games is going up and up. That is something Sony's Yoshida could talk to me about and, to hear it from him, game creators are going to have some rather large bills to pay in the next generation of gaming. He estimated that top PS3 games have been costing $20-$50 million to make. And for PS4? "Slightly larger," he said, laughing. "We are just starting!"
It will be interesting if the PS4's games or non Microsoft developed games end up being $70 or if the digitally downloaded games on the Xbox One will be cheaper than $60.

Oh yeah for sure. I mean, if you think about it, they've been priming use already and testing the waters with all these "special edition" games that range from $80 to $150 dollars. They know how much people are willing to pay for a game that they really want. There's not a doubt in my mind that if the next COD was $100 then it would still be the most selling game of that year per units.

meh, with the special editions they're just culling out the low hanging fanboy fruit.
those that give a shite about all the extra crap.
most just want the base game.
