At least the growth of the sport is being recognized more and more. But I can't say I see Louisiana ever getting an MLS franchise. I see this as a waste of public funds, sadly.

Too hot in Nola. They'd need a dome

How much worse is it than Houston? We would just have to have night games.

Never been to Houston. I assume the weather is why them and Dallas average ~ 600 people a game

I'd selfishly love it but I don't see it happening in Louisiana... they hate soccer here

Bop MLS down to NASL and, I'm serious, NOLA could get a team.

Houston has a great stadium and fan support. FC Dallas' stadium is kind of meh and they had like 11 people when I was there.

No. The largest fan base would be the Honduran population here. Put 2 or 3 Honduran national team players on it and it would be sold out via season tickets in a 18-20k soccer specific stadium.
