Ticket question - should LSU make the Championship

Not to pull a "Drewbie" (SECR) and jinx anything, but what is it like getting GA tickets this weekend vs. next weekend?
I planned on driving up if LSU would have been playing on Sat. Since they're not then I'm looking at next weekend.
Is getting GA tickets for championship weekend better, equal to or more difficult than opening weekend?
TIA!

I would imagine for the championship series the lines will be stupid long every game.
you can get General admission tickets whenever during the tourney.
If I were you buy some Gen amind tickets but try and find people selling tickets outside the stadium.
I'm a newbie so this is just a guess.

I'm going up Thursday and staying through the championship.
I plan on getting tickets up there.

There will be locals selling tickets outside the stadium but I'd imagine the general admission line being long as usual. You'll find a ticket don't worry about that.

I would bring plenty of cash, it may be though to find a ticket at face value for that series.

If we are going up just for the Final Series, we can expect to pick up grandstand seats at $200/ticket? Or will we be just lucky to get in the park for the Finals?

Much easier for the finals. Thousands tix being sold by leaving teams.

Been 4 times - never paid more than face value for tickets for any game. Went to finals only in 2009 and bought good seats for all three games at face value. Easiest ticket to get in College sports. You can stand outside the main entrance and buy tickets all day long. Finals tickets are definitely easier to get than first round tickets because there are less teams (and less fans) around. I drive up from Waco and get hotel and tickets when I get there. Never had a problem getting a hotel. Everyone needs to geaux one time. It is a blast. Nothing like football BCS or basketball Final Four. Much easier and cheaper. When LSU gets to the championship, I will be there again.

They released tickets for Games 1 and 2 a few days before the finals after we knew we would be in it.
Then they released tickets for Game 3 like 1-2 hours or something like that after the end of Game 2 since it was a split.
That was for Rosenblatt though
