Grand Isle Fishing report 6-12

I took my dad down to the island yesterday. We did pretty well. Fished in the bay for an hour or so then switched to the surf. No wind, flat seas and a lot of boats for a weekday. Ended up keeping 46 trout. Caught lots of throwbacks, probably 4:1. There was a lot of bait in the surf.

Negative, fished the east side of the main island. There were several boats coming from Elmers on our way back to Bridgeside.
