Karl-Heinz Rummenigge arrived at Bayern's training camp on Tuesday, determined not to miss the evening friendly against Brescia Calcio. "It's still relatively early, and we don't have any concrete plans at the moment. But let's wait and see what happens in the market. We're known for occasionally doing the unexpected, as we did with Javi Martinez last year. If anything reasonable became available, we'd talk it through internally."

...Franck Ribéry:
"We had an astronomical offer from England for him back in 2008, but we said no. The decision sent out a signal. We indicated we're not a club that sells players it wants. Franck has been crucial to our recent success. We're very happy with him, and he's happy in Munich."

...Arjen Robben:
"I was exceptionally happy that it was he who scored the winning goal in the Champions League final, because Arjen has taken a lot of criticism over the years. I know he's obsessed by football, and we've won important trophies thanks to him. I think the crowd have taken to him now, but I always knew he was quality. And it wasn't for nothing that Pep described him as a gift. The statement tells you all you need to know."

...public training sessions at the Säbener Strasse:
"We're the last big club in Europe to hold any public training sessions at all. Take Chelsea as an example, where even a mouse can't get in. But Bayern have come to a very fair arrangement with the fans, and there will continue to be open training sessions, although obviously there'll still be some closed sessions."

...Breno, who is currently serving a prison sentence:
"We can say with some hope that Breno may be allowed a form of day release, which would be every day from 8 am till 8 pm. He'd have to prove he has a job, and we're ready to offer him one. It would be very desirable in his case."

I like that KHR basically said they didn't want Gomez after praising him. We had a big offer for Ribery but we don't sell players we want
