This came across the schedule on Encore, so I DVR'd it. It's been a little while since I'd watched it. It seems like this was on TBS every Saturday growing up. I must have watched it a thousand times. Is this not one of the greatest scifi gems ever? How could you not like it?

I was thinking of how Hollywood could remake this and continue to F up every cartoon or epic movie I grew up watching. I still cringe at what they did to Speed Racer.

Yeah, that wood beast contest thing was pretty brutal.
Also, looking up Ornella Muti on IMDB not only was she hot as hell as the princess back then, she's still pretty hot now in her late 50s.

No. Flash is an ordinary human. He was a polo player in the comics/serials, and they updated that to a QB for the movie.
