Win 1: UCLA

Win 2: UNC/NCSt

Win 3: UCLA/UNC/NCSt

Win 4: Vandy/Louisville/MissSt

Win 5: Vandy/Louisville/MissSt

= Dogpile + New Intimidator

-threw out USC/Rice (down1-0 on the road), FloridaSt (speaks for itself), Virginia/OregonSt (down1-0), and KansasSt/Indiana (will be first-ever CWS for both)

I don't think you can just through out some of those teams...

ETA: An all SEC CWS final for ESPN say it ain't so

lol, i know, i know.... It's just a fun hypothetical and using a best educated guess.

IMO, Vandy is the only team down 1-0 that will come back and win the series.

Yes. First game of the series. Beat them 9-5. They knocked out Cal St Fulerton before getting beat by Arkansas.

Didn't South Carolina lose the first game against us and then win the last 2 this season? Just asking, because I would assume UNC used its best last night.

yeah, I meant first CWS for Indiana and KState

I merely think MissSt will win the Super vs Virginia, which is why I threw UVA out.

Yeah, that's what I'm sayin...If they make it, which it appears one or probably both will, I would be shocked if Indiana or Kstate won the CWS or even made the championship series in their first appearance there (LSU wouldn't play that side until the championship series anyway). Could it happen? Sure, but very unlikely IMO.

UCLA, UNC, Vandy only ones that make me nervous.
But with Nola giving us almost a guaranteed win game 1 both weekends, I have faith in Eades, Glenn, and the bats to take us to the promised land.

What would the pitching look like in these games?

Assuming we stay in the winner's bracket:

Nola
Eades/Glenn
Eades/Glenn

Nola
Eades/Glenn
if necessary: Eades/Glenn/kitchen sink

Why? They are a good fielding team and have some alright pitchers but none of their starters even bat over .300
