I would say LSU is a baseball school. We had dominated the world of college baseball in the 90's and keep carrying on the success that we had. It's more exciting to watch LSU baseball than football. What's your take?

I have always been a baseball fan first and a football fan second. There is NOTHING better than watching my Tigers at the Box. I understand what you are saying; I also know many who feel the same way.

With that being said, LSU is a football school with a great baseball program and loyal, knowledgeable baseball fans!

Well, except when we lose to small schools from up north.

I kid, I kid. To the OP, LSU is most definitely a football school with a great baseball program.

It's a football school, but I enjoy the baseball more.

5.) Football
6.) Baseball
7.) Basketball/Track
8.) Everything else..

eta: college baseball just isn't a big deal nationally. It gets almost zero air time in the national news.

LSU, Ohio St. and Florida are the only schools in the nation that put a premium on excellence in every sport. They're just attractive schools all around.

Football school with a baseball addiction.

Being a baseball fan is more enjoyable as its just part of the game to have a bad game once in a while. I hate the perfectionistic mentality that you have to win every game in football.

Let's wait till we win in Omaha first. Also a large amount of the best baseball prospects are playing minor league ball not college baseball. Of course not all of them, but enough to dilute the product. This doesn't happen with college football. The best prospects are playing football in college even if its JUCO.

Don't forget about Louisville, right now they are the most balenced in all 3 sports of any school this past academic season.

This is an interesting point and I have to agree...I am trying to think if there are more that are that prominent although I guess Florida would have to take the cake in this particular race...

We are a wash with OSU because we dominate in baseball, and they in basketball - FLA has all three right up there nearly every year.

I think UT was there at one point, but it has been awesome to see their decline.
