Suicide squeeze with Jones on third was the call

Coach M got real lucky. The call should have been for a right handed batter putting down a suicide squeeze when Jones tripled.

There's a reason they're called SUICIDE plays and LSU doesn't have a plethora of great bunters on the team.

Bunt woulda been fine in that situation, but your implied assertion that it was a stupid decision and that we got "lucky" makes you look like an idiot.

I don't mind someone saying "hmmm, I would have bunted there." Actually, I agree with that...if I was the coach, I would have bunted there too. However, what I don't like is when some fans assume that an alternative action is a stupid decision just because it's not what they would have done there. There is more than one way to skin a cat, and PM knows his team and what he wants to do better than any of us. And FWIW, we probably don't have a 2 run lead in the 9th if we bunt there.
