My thoughts on The Internship

Just got out of a screening...it's meh
Two hour commercial for Google with some comedy beginning at the halfway point
My buddy enjoyed it but I went in with low expectations and it didn't even live up to those
Definitely could have been better in my opinion
ETA most of the decent jokes were in the trailer IMO and those were just alright

If you're gonna see a comedy, I'd definitely suggest this is the end over the internship

Although I'm kind of tired of "buddy" comedies (i.e. group of 4 dudes doing nothing but improv; the Judd Apatow crew), I agree that I would rather see that movie than the Internship.

The "you get high?" Joke was enough to keep me far far away from this movie. And I even smoke but that's just an obvious crowd pleasing joke.

movie was filmed partially in my building at GT and I have some sweet pictures of sets, but other than that not so interested in seeing it

I mean it's an okay comedy with a couple of cameos but it seemed like recycled jokes that were awfully forced...seemed also like they tried to force the Wedding Crashers connection between the two characters
that being said, my friend did like it...I am hard to please when it comes to comedies though

Exactly what I knew it would be. Nothing more than a half assed flick form Vaughn and Wilson. They should try harder next time.
I wasn't impressed at all when I saw the previews at the theater. When that happens, the movie has no chance with me.

Just saw on Rotten Tomatoes The Internship is at 28% (avg 4.6 out of 10)...I guess I'm not crazy for not finding this movie funny

I think most with quality taste in comedies are going to agree with you. I'll probably wait til it hits dvd.
This Is The End on the other hand....I'll hopefully be there for the midnight premiere.
