Why doesn't college baseball get more love? As crowds grow the coverage grows but it doesn't receive the attention that it should. As LSU's regional was not televised for the first time in 10 years a lot of people were upset and I understand their pain. With the help of Twitter and TD it does get easier, but it's just a bunch of independent guys around the country that you must sift through. Kendall Rogers and KP are the only nationally known college baseball reporters worth anything. With the help of the SEC Network I can see college baseball growing even more, but I can see in being overrun by football. Baseball is growing, both in college and in the pros. Why can't we have more national attention for college baseball than we do now?

Remember, years ago when LSU played on TV on Sunday afternoons and it was produced by Jumbo Sports and shown on a local TV network. Those were the days, the days that I grew to love LSU Baseball. Sure it wasn't "High Definition" but it reached a larger audience. Maybe I'm quantity over quality on this one.

As I grow older I want to see what the rest of the country has to offer for baseball because I love the game so much. I would to get your thoughts.

All 16 regionals were televised. That's pretty big for the sport.

I know it didn't work out great for some people, but I've never enjoyed this time of year more. Being able to see all the games is a huge step.

Hooked up the 'putter to one TV, streamed 4 games (except during LSU) and had the other TV on ESPN2.
