Don't knock it until you've tried it.. Beside ESPN 3 anything you can watch on the Internet you can watch on a 60 inch flatty with Apple TV..........
ANYTHING.

You see, I'd need some of Jonathan Gray's adderall to watch 4 games at once.

I did that all season for all other games. I'm young, but I'm just old fashion.

Seems like ESPN made huge strides this year in their coverage. With more exposure, it will build more and more excitement. Capping off the weekend with that insane FAU and UNC game was the cherry on the top.
For the old fogies in here, things like the ESPN3 streaming are pretty huge for the 30 and under crowds. This is the market you want to target IMO if you really want the sport to start taking off.

It's bc MLB is boring and most regular people only pay attention to baseball during the post season.

Choppy internet and piss more video quality sometimes when I hooked the laptop to the computer are my only complaints.
What about early in the season and early SEC play. That's more of my big gripe internet or not I wanna watch college baseball if I can make it to the games.

It makes no money. That simple.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure this is the first time ESPN did something like this. They're basically streaming 16 games at once to everyone in the country. I wasn't that surprised to see the quality dip every once in awhile.

False. Their already making money Bc you can only get it through certain providers. So it's not really "free"

Really? Why is that LSU, SCAR, and Omaha can build new stadiums. Why is it LSU fans go to Omaha even if LSU doesn't make it. Their is huge money to be made it just hasn't been fully tapped into yet.

ESPN3 is just genuinely lousy.
Any time I've booted up ESPN3 for a game (even for a random college basketball game in November), the quality has been horribly inconsistent.

Why doesn't college baseball get more love
Because northern teams (outside of Indiana this year) suck. It's a regional thing.

Yes, it was. Kyle Peterson is the man. He loves LSU even though we shelled him twice in Omaha in 1997.

he hates talking about it so much.

We will see college baseball grow tremendously in the next decade. Espn has committed to broadcasting more games and with the SEC network, the game will grow even more.

I know, but he freaking loves what LSU brings to the table.
I was up there that year and the Omaha World Herald was including a little CWS diary he wrote every day. We shelled him--twice.

It was. I will give ESPN props for the coverage. I was nice if only that did it through out the season or something like that.

It's growing in popularity. 35 years ago, you'd be lucky to have 100 people at any game.

It is all about ratings. If more people watched college baseball, they would broadcast more of it. The passion we feel for it down south is not enough, I guess.
