Great Uggla is in to be the most unproductive baseball player on the planet.

I'm guessing tomorrow will be our ideal lineup...Gattis, Pena, Schafer all in for the noon start on a getaway day

I didn't feel like what I'm about to post deserved it's own thread, and I feel like the information is directly relevant to the Braves, seeing as the Nats are in 2nd place.

BUT the Nats today released Zach Duke, DFA'd Henry Rodriguez, Sent Espinosa to AAA, called up Anthony Rendon, and activated Jayson Werth, and called up one of our top relief prospects Ian Krol.

I figured this was the only acceptable thread to post this, in hopes that it seems most of you guys like me, and wanted to get y'alls thoughts as hopefully now the Nats can make it a better race.

Good luck tonight btw.

Happy Mike Minor day, all. Glad we have our best lineup for our best pitcher.

A shame Henry Rodriguez can't get his shite under control.

Rendon to be the everyday 2B, I presume?

I'm sure.

They're such a mess on the infield. Zimmerman has to move off third base, but they signed LaRoche to a two year deal. I know Rendon has played some second, but he'll be a drop in defense from Espinosa

I wouldn't say we're getting desperate, I would say we're getting smart. It's long overdue. We have the most egotistcal a-hole GM in all of baseball who hates to be wrong on anything, so it takes a fricking miracle to see roster changes.

But yes Rendon will be the everyday 2B. Not in their tonight, but should be moving forward according to reports.

Yeah I have no idea what took so long with Espinosa. He's not right and it's obvious. I saw he might need shoulder surgery on top of his wrist problems

^^^

That's true haha.

Also Espinosa was place on the DL, but I expect to him to at least be gone for a while. He has a lot wrong with him.
