Changed my favorite team. We needed some Cajun fans here tonight.

Hopefully a lefty starter means a start in right for Foster! I mean the kid has earned it!

Is that a misprint?

That's damn strong for a Southland guy.

We love lefties, though

If its not a misprint, there is no reason for us to be swinging at 1st pitches

Of his 60 hits allowed, he has only given up 8 total extra base hits (7 doubles and 1 homer). He also has hit 8 guys in 86 innings, which isn't a lot.

So he must work away and down in the strike zone quite well without giving in to hitters. The home plate ump's strike zone on the outside corner will tell the tale on how successful Smith can be.

That's a WHIP around 1.35 and .197 BAA.

Never seen the guy, but to me that seems he would pitch around the plate hence the 56 walks.

Hopefully the Ump isn't extra liberal with the SZ.
