Lifetime Concealed Carry Permit

How that HB 265 has been signed by the Gov, who is going to apply for their Lifetime permit? $500 and still have to do training every 5 years.

I'm trying to find something that says that Bobby signed it, all I can find right now is this

So you still have to retrain every 5 years? What's lifetime about it then, other than the fee?

Kind of why I'm holding up too; I can see it coming, just don't know how long.
I'l probably won't give it too long before I go lifetime. I assume it will still rollover into all the other states honoring LA CCP.

I still like the idea of having people do a refresher every now and then. Call me paranoid, but I'd rather not have people out there CCing with little to no training.

If they ever try to price people of getting the permits or just simply try to use it for a money grab, it won't affect you since you already have a lifetime permit.
