Searched but didn't see it mentioned yet on here. Looking like JR might get his shot after all. Several teams are reportedly showing significant interest in him now that he's dropped 50lbs and is back to 265.

I am loving his comeback story and am hoping he finds a great situation.

Dude looks great. Look at the guys taking snaps in the NFL. He will get a chance.

That Mark guy is a tool. JR has a better arm than ANY rookie QB out there and most veterans. Why not bring him into your camp and see what happens?

Does JR DESERVE a shot at a comeback? That's debateable.

Why wouldn't an NFL team just test him out? If it doesn't work out, then where's the harm?

Absolutely. Not to mention the guy has repped LSU gear in each BR video documenting his comeback.

I really can't understand a reason not to root for him. It can only help LSU to have him restore his image and succeed (even on a small scale) in the League. It certainly doesn't help LSU to have a former player perennially discussed as the biggest bust of all time.

I hope it works for him..redemption is something this country lives for in people.

I can't see a team not signing him and bringing him in assuming he doesn't have some odd, out of line contract standpoint.

FIFY

He has arguably the strongest arm in the history of football.

would like to sign with a team where he can sit on the bench and learn behind a respected leader at quarterback.

Hmmmm, which NFL team currently needs a backup and would fit this description perfectly. C'mon, Sean, at least give him a look.

I'd like to see Jamarcus go to Denver or New Orleans. He can sit behind a great QB that not only has the physical tools, but are great field generals.

It would be great to see Jamarcus learn to be a great game manager.

I love JaMarcus, too... but this comment is just not accurate.

JaMarcus was a great PLAYER here at LSU, and I consider him one of our best QB's... but leadership is not his strong suit.

I'm rooting for him too.
He never did anything as a player to embarrass LSU.

I heard from some insiders that the main reason teams have stayed away is Jamarcus' Bama Boy necklace years ago. They say it showed a lack of loyalty, meaning he lacks the trait of a leader.

It was that, not the fact that he weighed 320+
