It's only a matter of time for him to be a head coach somewhere. He knows a lot about baseball and has it in the family. I hope he can land it

Why is it a joke?
Davis played under Skip, he's coached under Mainieri and been an arse't coach through several SEC championships and a national championship and his dad was a longtime baseball coach after a college baseball career as a player.
I'm not saying Davis is ready to manage the NY Yankees, but his resume would impress most people other than the typical cynical Rantard.

He'll be a good coach wherever he goes. I've known him for years and was always 100 percent confident he'd be a head coach somewhere down the line. Anybody that's known him since high school knew this was his path.
