I actually like this. Newman should be enough to get past JS, leaving Nola to handle game 2. Going into a double elimination situation with Eades and Glenn still available would be ideal in my book.

id also like to see newman get a little more work before supers and cws....he looked really sharp in his start saturday

Kid didn't give up a hit to Arkansas, I'd feel good about him going against Jackson State.

Jacoby Jones will pitch tge first game. This is why we haven't seen him he has been working on his pitches. He will surprise everyone.
