That would put us facing Rodon in the first round of the CWS, I think.

Yea Rodon Vs Nola game one would be legendary but he is averaging like 14 k per 9 and he usually goes 8ip at a minimum. Would rather be 3 seed an face NCSU or UNC in game 2 with Glenn going

Rodon is pretty good from what I've seen. That would be an interesting matchup

One thing I noticed watching the ACC this year is they swing at alot of bad pitches. Wouldnt be surprised if they only got 1 to Omaha.

Why is Vandy ahead of us? Head to head match up mean anything?

They're not going to place too much emphasis on one game out of 60+.

I'd much prefer to be on the side where we have the least chance for SEC match ups . I'd like the chance to see the tigas pound on some ACC clubs.

As someone who has seen both pitch about a dozen times, no.

Rodon's A game is better than anyone in the country. Sure Nola could outduel him if he is a little off, but this dude is amazing.

10 IP, 1 hit, 0 ER in a no decision to UNC last night. 1 freaking hit in 10 innings. He hit 104 in the 8th inning against FSU. Dude has incredible stuff.

I do not want a NCSU LSU matchup until the last possible moment, CWS final series. FTR I will be rooting for LSU if the teams match up. But Id prob be rooting for it to be 2-1 and Rodon win the 1.

I say that only because i think nc state is burning his arm out. By the time lsu would get to him theres no telling. They ride that horse and rightfully so.

LSU makes a living out of battering aces in Omaha.

The past few big series this has been true, especially last night. But hasnt been true for the season as a whole.

The whole reason he started poorly this season was because all of the summer baseball he played. He basically skipped fall practice this year at State. So he started like crap because he was cold but I think its foolish to think his arm is anywhere near burning out. He still has thrown 14 less innings than last year. So that puts him at basically the same pace if you consider a regional and a super regional game.
