Regular season Champs are the SEC champions and the real Champions of that season.
The winner of this game is the SEC Tournament Champion. It's just a cute little trophy and an auto-bid to the postseason tournament.

Two championships just like basketball:
SEC Regular Season Champion
SEC Tournament
We don't hang banners in Alex Box for SEC Tournament championships nor SEC regular season championships, so it really doesn't matter.
Regular season is the true conference champions for a given year. Tournament champion is simply the winner of the tournament. Both are neat to have, both are meaningful.

There's banners for both. One says "SEC champions" one says "SEC Tournament Champions". With that said the regular season are the true champions

No way. Weak résumé and two southland teams already in. I was surprised this team made it to finals. But was youngest team in years for them.

There's a banner for each championship I'm sure. LSU doesn't put them up though, there would be no room for the intimidator if they put all of those banners up. There would be what? 25+?
