I don't want to talk about the game. Mettenberger was phenomenal, though. He has the tools and he put it together that game. We return 9 starters on offense and 2 more big, explosive WRs will join the team. I am excited about the offense this year - I expect to see more of what we saw in that game.

while I agree and am excited to see the offense under Cameron next season, I still am worried. while the offense was playing at a heightened level against Alabama, there were many times that game where we should've come away with points and got nothing...

so while excited, I remain cautiously optimistic until we can prove we can score when we're supposed to next season.

If we can improve Red Zone play (and with Leslie and Dural, we will have taller WRs), then yes, the offense will be more productive.

I think we will.

I'm not a Miles hater but that loss was entirely on the coaching. I think he admitted as much.

I've never been prouder of the players. They played out of their skins.

It was like watching a different team. Played a notch above any other game last season.

The improved O-Line will be crucial in finishing drives. The numbers between 2011 and 2012 in redzone production was anemic. LSU had the inability is games vs. Alabama, USC and Ole Miss where they were awful in the redzone and it kept opponents in the game...

Saban pretty much said that we did everything right. So he almost admitted it...does that count?

Still don't know how they found a way to lose that game, unreal effort.

I'm usually a pessimist, but when OB3 caught that last pass I was sure we were about to put the game away....just one more gosh damn first down

Of course not,but they are starting to question the legitimacy of last year's NC and all the breaks that keep going their way. Those gumps are due for a good Tiger beat down.

can't get inside the 5 or 10 and not score touchdowns.

and yes LSU is going to be great this year with the offense back and the additions of the WRs with size and enormous talent.. and a real legit OC!

Thank you for sharing the highlights. It was all LSU all game long. We had them and then Chavis happened!!

I have high hopes this year on both sides of the ball. I am optimistic that the lessons learnt on defense will be addressed and our offense will be on fire.
