Ok...first, there may already be a thread on this.. I didn't check...

Second.. I like Rhymes.. good kid.. good player etc..

BUT... he seems to hit into a LOT of double plays. It even seems like he hits better when no one is on base. He hit into two today and he seems to hit into them regularly.

I missed the 1st two innings.. He must have hit into one early. I didn't see it.

I think Rhymes is the ultimate double agent. So good at hitting that he knows just when to screw up and kill a big moment. He even pays his own way to LSU to deflect suspicion.

I'm just super happy we won. Losing to Bama with a walk on pitcher on the mound wouldn't have been good.

Cause I'm hyper active and didn't slow down enough to look first. :)

It would be interesting to do the stats and see how many he's hit into. It seems like it's been quite a few. He does seem to hit better when no one is on base. May just be perception.

I love RR. And as frustrating as those DPs are, I bet there is no one more frustrated than him.

It wouldn't be the worst idea to swap Raph and McMullen for the 1st game of the Regional just to see. It's just so late in the year to start trying shite you don't want to completely mess up multiple guy's heads.
