Quite an under appreciated accomplishment by this team. Dominant is the only word. Who is responsible for this juggernaut ?

Jeff Willis. Program has been dominant since he has been there, he has had multiple offers to coach at D1 schools but he is the AD and Head Coach at LSUE and he is comfortable where he is at.

Louisiana is such a hotbed for talent and the JUCO route makes sense for a lot of different types of kids. Why would you sit the bench at a big time school when you can play for 1 or 2 years at a well ran program like LSUE and transfer to play somewhere like LSU immediately.

I was part of Willis' first recruiting class back in '03. We finished third at the WS in '04 and the class underneath me won it all for the first time in '06.

Crazy arse stat for the team,
LSU-E has stolen 229 bases in 279 attempts (82 percent). Casey Rodrigue leads the team in steals with a club record 62. He’s been caught just seven times (89.8 percent). Landon Thibodeaux is second for LSU-Eunice with 48 steals in 52 attempts (92.3).
That's freaking ridicoulus we need to recruit one of those guys idk there BA or OBP but it has to be pretty good if the are on base enough to steal that many bases.

Eunice in the house!

The girls team won it as well and they've only been around a few years. Eunice is shaping up mighty well under Tharold Simon's leadership.

Yes, the girls won their 2nd NJCAA National title in 3 years the other day defeating Phoenix College avenging their lost last year in the title game against Phoenix College...

I played under Willis his 1st season (03). I was actually recruited by the former coach Russo. I transferred to LSU after 1 season to just concentrate on school.

do they have anyone that can bunt?? although if you can steal bases like that you don't need to bunt.

I can promise you they can bunt better than most D1 teams.
