Hawgs made 80 errors and held on to finish last in the conference.

Tigers made 41 errors, and finished 1st in fielding.

You're right. Stats outside of ERA do not matter to Arkansas.

RPI is also not real. Those OOC losses did not happen.

Their fielding was lights out when we played them. Hope it's not the same tomorrow

I think that was obvious when we played them.

If you mean they fielded like the lights were out, then yes I would agree. They had 6 errors in the series, but a pretty good ERA.

Our fielding has been better since putting McAfee back at short, but we still make some stupid plays sometimes

Arkansas had some infield issues early on but made some changes in the infield duri g the LSU series earlier this year.

63 errors were committed from the start of the season through the LSU series. Since the changes and since the LSU series, Arkansas has made only 17 errors, gone two complete conference series with making 1 error, and another series with no errors.

That's not to say we will not kick the ball around today, but the infield changes have helped a lot in regards to errors.
