Zombie tale, which I'm not sure that makes much of a difference. Technically they aren't zombies, but I'm sure it has that same feel.

Skryim released on a Friday, I believe. I loved it. After a long week of work, a quick trip to Gamestop and Wendy's, and a long and glorious weekend exploring Skyrim and crapping my pants.

From what I understand, Naughty Dog has a reputation for lifting the review embargoes pretty well in advance of their release dates, probably because they are confident in what they make. (Though, it could be Sony making that decision in the end.)
Uncharted 2 and 3 had reviews published a week or 2 before release as well.
I think they want people talking about their game, building up excitement before it hits store shelves.
