How to get Alligator Tags?

Me and a buddy are big time sportsman and have been knocking down a town of hogs in his marsh and harvesting big bull frogs out the arse but we really want to get Alligator tags. I've searched a ton but can't quite get a hold of the necessary info I need to go forward with getting tags. We have no previous "alligator" hunting experience, but I think we could get the hang of it. Both are 21 have boats, guns etc... Can anyone help me out or simply point me in the direction of someone who can? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

LDWF is your friend. In fact, they just posted their lottery hunts for alligators.

One of them contacted my parents recently to he on one of their shows.. I told then to tell em hell no.. how embarassing

I think all of these were in South La. I really think they start with issuing the other tags in July.
