Best group of assistant football coaches since?

With the addition of CC as OC where does this coaching staff rank among the best LSU coaching staffs in terms of experience, knowledge, and coaching ability?

I know that it is hard to judge the staff without havibg seen CC until after one season but it the offseason.

Including Saban, the 2003 staff had 4 head coaches on it.

Miles probably has assembled the best pair of coordinators in the history of LSU.

Cameron is the best offensive coordinator in the history of the SEC.

Chavis is as good as Saban was when at LSU.

In terms of experience, we have two highly experienced coordinators. However, both are experienced coordinators because one has never been a head coach and the other has been unsuccessful as a head coach, so both have spent most of their careers as coordinators.

Does that reflect poorly on their knowledge and coaching ability? It certainly doesn't seem so in Chief's case. We'll see with Cameron.

The problem with good coordinators is that they tend to get offered head coaching jobs and move on.

great assistant and did great at Latech. I don't think the Tennessee program fully accepted him, but I still see a future for him.

Arnsparger had Mike Nolan (future NFL HC), Archer, Zaunbrecher, Pete Jenkins, Terry Lewis, Jerry Sullivan, Kurt Shottenheimer and Pete Mangurian all coached in the NFL after leaving LSU.

One of the best group ever at LSU. Only if Les will let them coach.
