I feel like just tallying the votes up one nights
10 points for first place votes 8 for 2-10, 5 for 11-25, 3 for 25-35 and one point for 36-40.
Take each persons forty and tally.
Use above formula for top 200.

If I get a few hours free time, I might go through the lists myself and try to tally the scores. I just want to be sure to use the agreed-upon scoring method (if there even was one).

I'm kinda bummed about it. The OP was holding off, because he wants "TL;DR" comments on each movie. I say screw dat and just get the top 200 list made.
I like your scoring method too, but it can give a lot of points to movies that many find irrelevant, that's why I was thinking lower points. They should still get a similar top 200.
