I actually like 2/3 of the second movie. It just kinda lost its way a little. Loved Alexa Devalos and wished her character made it through.

As a huge fan of Chronicles of Riddick, this looked nothing like what I expected and is not the direction I thought this film was going to take.

yeah, I enjoyed the second movie as well. I just think that this movie here should have been the second movie. They kinda doing things arse backwards. Riddick following the Chronicles of Riddick.

Looks like a good popcorn flick that is similar to Pitch Black which I really enjoyed

It looks like a big budget Pitch Black to me. Vin Diesel is planning on doing more Riddick movies so maybe this one will use small bits from Chronicles to start to establish a bigger story.

I was kind of hoping they would continue with the Under-Verse story line with him controlling the armada but this still looks pretty damn good to me.

Looks almost like an exact remake of Pitch Black, instead of regular people its just Mercs. I love Riddick but that's disappointing

Agreed. Also the casting for the main bad guy was terrible.

I liked everything about Chronicles except Vin. He has more cheesy one liners than any one Furian should be allowed. I wish they would take the props from that movie and go make a Necromonger flick with a script written for grown ups
