How fast do the in-state WRs give their pledge to Miles?

With the addition of Williams, a crap load of pressure has just been unload on the in-state guys. If they wait any longer, Blacknall will be giving his pledge.

They all know we have spots saved for them, so whenever they are ready. Blacknall will probably commit before any of the 3.

No there hasn't. . . There's a place reserved for Dupre, Noil, and Quinn whenever they're ready. D'haquille's commitment doesn't change that. Neither would Blacknall's IMO. Upchurch may be a casualty, though.

I also think Upchurch will need to start looking around but a guy on another board says that one on the in-state guys might be the odd man out. And this poster always has great info.

I agree. I just passing along what another reliable poster said. Also Noil was considered a lock and is now looking around more. I hope we get them all. Dupre looks like he would be the first to commit out of all of the in-staters.

Somebody said Upchurch might have problems qualifying with grades.

Blacknail is in. and no way we can turn down
quinn, noil, dupree. I don't know how they do it but you can bet they will work it out so that these guys have a spot if they want it. Makes me smile now when i think how i was upset that we missed to TAM on Ricky Seals-Jones. No big loss now with all this talent coming on board.

It doesn't really change anything. D'haquille is a one-year player.

With D'haquille, one of them will likely redshirt. That seems incredible, given how talented they all are, but I don't see us putting 4 new WRs on the field with the talent we will already have.

Upchurch isn't going anywhere but LSU. If need be, we take all six. But Williams doesn't mean Upchurch is odd man out.

well put... Upchurch and Noil have different skill sets and could line up in a variety of places. For that reason, 6 WRs is ok. DW is very possibly 1-2 years, and we have a ton of upper class WRs on roster.

My biggest question is LBer and how many we take. I think we only take 1 true DT so that may be why we take an extra LBer, but the front 7 is where my focus is shifting.

Surprised no one has mentioned the likely grey shirt for Upchurch.

This. We don't need to take 2 QBs every single year
