Pretty good event they put on. Aside from the Rodeo, the arts and crafts are great, and the actual prison grounds are pretty spectacular.

Cheering and rooting for rapists, robbers, and murderers seems weird to me.

Pretty sure the worst criminals aren't allowed to participate, and you're rooting for them to get crushed by a raging bull anyway.

thats correct, they stay confined to their cells during the event.
i lot of the time the inmates look forward to it and they get to walk around and are always on their best behavior

And they work on their crafts all year. It's really a great thing they do for the inmates, which is kinda weird to say.

Went for the first time last year. Thought it was awesome. Some of the things the inmates build to sell is incredible. Very impressive!
