he certainly did not get in, and that has fricked up our streak against them. would be the longest streak in the SEC against one opponent

LSU stopped the ball carrier in the backfield and he crawled to the endzone

I was at this game and trev faulk threw his helmet into orbit in disgust.

The moo st fans had 7-0 newspapers printed outside the stadium like they won the NC. It was rather comical.

But yeah the refs blew it. He was down clearly.

I recall the running back not getting in too. It was a blown call and wasn't even close. Too bad there was no replay. But of course, the replay official still would have probably gotten it wrong.

It was reverse the next year when toefield fumbled headed into the endzone but it was called a touchdown. LSU beat state in OT.

Yep, works both ways. State wins in 2000 without this terrible call. This was a worse call than the year before.

Idk, has Vandy ever beaten Florida?

ETA: 1988 was the last time Vandy beat Florida FYI

And the game @ Alabama where Booty refused to pass to two open WRs and was sandwiched at the 1 as the clock ran out.

The '98 Bama game was even worse...

...I still don't want to talk about it.

Are you sure? You might be going by some qualifiers that I'm not aware of, but I found 5 SEC teams teams with a 22-game winning streak or better against an SEC opponent.

LINK

Tennessee vs. Kentucky - 26 (1985-2010)
Florida vs. Kentucky - 26 (1987-Present)
Tennessee vs. Vanderbilt - 22 (1983-2004)
Alabama vs. Mississippi St. - 22 (1958-1979)
Florida vs. Vanderbilt - 22 (1989-Present)

The current streak vs. Mississippi St. is 13 now. Prior to 1999 LSU had 7 consecutive victories over MSU (1992-1998). So, if LSU would have won that game in 1999, that would be 21 consecutive victories dating back to 1992.

LSU lost to Mississippi St. in 1991.
