Ok my right side liight will not work with my truck lights on. With truck lights off blinker and brake lights will work. Right side locator light works. Have replaced both tail lights. Any body have a clue what could be going on?

When weird shite happens with trailer lights, you have a bad ground

95% of the time the ground is bad. I always start there no matter what the problem is.

Have you rewired it and this is the first try. Or this just started today?

Your ground is fricked up.

As far as more frustrating shite than trailer lights...the swamp arse is WAY more frustrating.

Check your connectors as well. Make sure they are getting good contact between each pin.

I haven't ever had a set of trailer lights last longer than a year. Last time I put up the trailer in a garage. Everything, including the turn signals and side markers, was working because I just redid the wiring two weeks before. Hook the SOB up and half the damn lights don't work. All it did was sit in a garage untouched. Entire brand new wiring kit and the bastard isn't working. I just run it with no lights now

We go off the 50% rule

If half of em work, roll with it.

Ok so left side works good. Right side does not. So the ground on the right side? There is no ground wire on the light.

The ones on small trailers(4-pin) usually have a ground up front by the plug, and one that is inside each light and grounds out through the bolts holding it on
