"Sorry teammates, I'm still just not ready to go yet. Want me to get you a cold towel or a throwup bucket?"

(Yes, this was posted in the game thread last night but here's the bump.)

That obviously means he can play at 100% for an entire basketball game.

Could you imagine if LBJ had done this? The crucifixion would be insane.

Your team is playing sick and injured with basically only 6 players. I don't give Rose a pass. Nut up mentally and get your arse on the court if you're physically fine.

Fwiw I tore my acl/mcl/pcl in one good injury. While my lift off it stunk for awhile I was running and playong full contact sport and doing 17 mile loaded marches at 10 months.
That's with me only doing 1 hour pt n morning befote work.
Something is wrong in his head imho. He doesn't like spotlight and I think he's not coming back because of more pressure than ever on him if he did. Come nack nect year no pressure

I'm not speculating either way on it, but I will just throw out facts from a much more informed source than all of us.

Stan Van Gundy co-hosts with Lebatard on his radio show once a week for the entire show.

SVG said it's standard that once a player is a go for full 5 on 5 scrimmaing, he usually gets 1 or 2 practices in, then he comes back to play. He said in all his years coaching his teams and what he knows from his brother's teams and just in general, he's never heard of a guy going even a full week without returning to the lineup once participating in 5 on 5s.

DRose is now at I think 2.5 months.

SOmething is up. He may not just be a panzy, but it certainly seems like something way more than he's just "not ready" is in play here.

There are a couple of possibilities, with the two strongest being "He's in a pissing match with management" and "He's having confidence issues due to the injury.

Why should he risk serious injury for a team not getting out of the 2nd round? If he came back and got hurt again all you baby back bitches would be wanting to know why he came back for a team going nowhere. His entire game is based on his explosiveness and athleticism, kinda like Blake. BTW Zach Randolph can eat a dick, big as bitch didn't do shite for years, STFU. Eat a dick and let him come back when he's ready, when he does he's gonna wreck shite for you bunch of fruits.

I understand you're just passing on information you heard, but that is the most ridiculous thing I've heard (if Stan said that).

So once a player coming back from reconstructive knee surgery finally gets approved by the surgeon to play a scrimmage game, said player will get in 1 or 2 practices before returning to full NBA game action? That's beyond retarded

And who knows what has happened throughout his physical therapy or what kind of setbacks he has experienced.

I had my 2nd ACL surgery (same knee) on mine in February when I was in college, was back playing football again for fall practice.

With most guys its just mental, and everyone is different in regards to that. Obviously there is something going on in his head that he doesn't feel comfortable with, it's understandable.
