The location and building sort of sucked, though. There was really nothing charming at all about it.
It was like eating in a bad 70s rec room.

Someone told me they were originally on Broad St. Is that true?

Yeah that place was a time capsule, all the way down to the 8 ounce cups. Buy the name and relocate it to the WHD (this is a personal request).

I thought the big old bar was pretty awesome but yeah, the dining room sucked. Wouldn't take a whole lot to spruce it up though.

Yep. They were supposed to be very good then. And I enjoyed the place in Metairie years ago before the kids or whomever took it over.
