FWIW, I got my Chronarch used in MINT condition on eBay for $145 shipped to my door.

I can't speak for the sx's. I've never owned one but hear nothing except good about them.
I'd stray away from the s though. Mine was great for about 4 months and it started eating pawls. Totaled the reel trying to change it in the boat one day.

Revo SX. My favorite reel, and I use it exclusively in salt, often times getting dunked while kayak fishing. It's out-preformed my other baitcasters, including my Revo STX.
