I have wanted that in the stadium for years now.

is it possible that with an even more filled in bowl shape to Death Valley and an extra 8,000 people that Tiger Stadium will eclipse the atmosphere of that night? It's hard for me to imagine a more loud or electric atmosphere than Nov 3rd.

Of course it is. I remember my Freshman Year against Florida in 2007. I thought the place couldn't ever get louder, and then they announced the USC score and the final drive with Hester and I was proven wrong instantly. Until last year I considered that the most electric environment I had been to. Then the Alabama game, particularly the second half was as good as it gets. I'm sure with more people, and the expansion keeping more of the sound in, and a great game, Tiger Stadium will top my experiences yet again.

Exactly. The best atmosphere now will eventually get beat soon enough

Posted by tigerman03 Yeah, it's possible. But Nov 3rd wasn't the best. Florida '07 was downright epic.

I don't think that's a fair comparison. Had last years team closed the game out, I think it could have equaled it. After Landry caught that pass, the place was going nuts. But then McCarron slowly killed any activity as they marched right down the field

It's pretty much agreed upon that Tiger Stadium has never been better than November 3, 2012.

I don't like the idea for expansion. I see a ton of empty sats in the future. We already don't fill Tiger Stadium except for one, maybe two games a year.

People were drunk and passed out in the parking lot.

So why is the stadium only full for one game a year?

Because the OT ballers have better entertainment options like condos in Aspen, yachts, villas in Tuscany, deluxe outfitted tailgates with 70" plasmas/LEDs, full bars and dancing girls.

Why else?

Only poor people are truly entertained in TS; you know the ones that get there early, cheer their asses off, and then don't leave till the clock reads 00:00. And the poors are being squeezed out by the ballin ticket prices, exclusive parking, and every other feature installed since 2000.

Welcome to the future.

My guess is that season tix will sell out, but attendance (has been documented elsewhere IE humans in seats vs ticket sales) will continue on a similar downward trend, as long as the TAF and LSU sees fit to raise prices, and as long as the economy continues to suck and wages stagnate.

IMHO.

YMMV.

I hope they spent some time on the architecture to help with the expansion keeping more noise in
