These young men and women know where they are going to school by their Junior and Senior, curious why the wait so long to commit.

Is it to bring attention upon themselves? Is it a personal high?

Maybe I am too old to understand, but having grand kids they knew LSU was for them in their sophomore year.

Great time to be a tiger fan

They want to enjoy the process, some of them. Others like the attention. Still others honestly don't know what they want to do or want to see how the season goes. It's not easy for a lot of folks.

You would think they would be so proud of their decision that if they knew they would not wait . Because of their decision it would certainly help with other recruits . No

Well that sounds noble and all but having all the top schools vie for your attention and treat you like a king for a day or more, is probably a whiole lot more fun

This and you have to remember a lot of these kids don't come from much, and even the ones that do, who wouldn't turn down the opportunity to be the BMOC on five or so different campuses for a day?

I guarantee TV networks have a large say in when they commit if the player is playing on one of the nationally televised games. A player's decision will bring in lots of viewers. The games themselves are usually pretty boring anyway.

I thought he was "wide open." If that's what the World Leader in Sports is trying to get across, then I must believe it to be true.

Give these guys a break. Having been a high school student who had to pick a college, I can say it starts out with every school in the country as a possibility and then it narrows as you reach decision time. Hell, you don't think Stanford would offer a scholarship? Seriously. Some times you have to travel the world to realize that the girl next door is the girl for you.

Free trips to some very good college games and stadiums. Being treated like a king and getting the red carpet treatment.
