Eric Reid being picked a few picks later than Vacarro. Now if KV's shoes come untied the board will explode with threads about how Reid double knots and shite. I didn't really miss the Buster Davis/Robert Meachem years of stupidity on this board.

I'm happier with Kenny Vaccaro over Reid.

He was the consensus top safety really...but Reid will probably get more praise and accolades because he steps into a top three defense. I'm just steeling myself for the homer fusillade

already setting up the "vaccaro defense" i see

reminds me of how badass AP was the year after we drafted bust bush, and how the board defended Bush even with the evidence

Reid took a pretty significant step back last season. He may be a good safety one day, but I'm really confident Vacarro will be better next season, even if he's asked to do some tougher things.

i agree

i didn't want the saints to draft him in the 1st round, either

*ETA: reid has a higher ceiling, imho

True. But there is no denying that it will be significantly easier especially in the early going for Reid.

Reid had a better year when people had to attack him. They weren't going to throw at Mo Claiborne or TM7

They didn't have to attack Reid last year.

He will have a solid NFL career but I think V can cover better

Vaccaro is gonna be a bust. Maybe he can play special teams. This one one of the worst 1st round picks in this year's draft.
